Dental Benefit Scheme (PRSI)

This scheme, funded by your PRSI contributions, offers patients a free dental examination and a teeth cleaning at a reduced rate once per calendar year, reimbursed directly to the dentist by the Dept. of Social Welfare - we do all the paperwork so you dont have to !
To check if you are eligible for these entitlements we require your PPS number and date of birth which we can enter into the department online checker. In most cases we can determine your eligibility immediately, however there are sometimes cases which require the dept to contact you for further information which can delay this.
